We offer all the resources at our disposal to members. As we network further in the Kansas City area, we come across many avenues of opportunities for artists to expand their crafts. A network of fellow photographers, illustrators, painters, musicians and other artists to share knowledge with and expand your vision. Working closely with you to understand your individual needs as an artist and person, what paths to success may be available, and what resources you need to grow your vision is our mission. We believe that education in the arts is crucial for growth, and we strive to curate the best free and open content to help you grow and make lasting connections with educators and mentors in the arts in the Kansas City region. Circumstances that may have previously stood in the way of attaining your goals can be addressed and the resources to move forward such as assistance with getting into arts programs, arts colleges, or finding other nonprofits for you who assist with grants to artists. Our belief is that there should never be a barrier for entry into the arts and our mission is to help you —at whatever stage in your development— to grow to meet your dreams. Please contact us to discuss how we can help you. No person is too small, or too underserved by the community. The obstacles of the past can be left in the past and we can all get to a better tomorrow!
We recently donated 63 antique film cameras to the Johnson County Community College School of Fine Arts. Our hope is that aspiring artists and photographers may have the resources they need to be successful in their endeavors. 🙏 💜

"Girl with Seven Balloons", photo and poem by Bob Baker (2024).
As I was walking by light of the moon,
I pictured a girl with seven balloons.
Seven Balloons in the shape of a heart,
a heart filled with hope for those who love art.
With art as the heart
that lifts a balloon,
how many others will carry this tune?
