The Owl Eye Art Institute is a Kansas-based nonprofit organization founded in August 2024.
Our mission is to empower marginalized and underserved communities through the arts by providing educational services, mentorship, and resources in photography and visual design. We aim to create opportunities for artistic expression and personal growth, fostering a supportive environment where individuals can thrive and share their talents with the world.
Through public donations, grants and memberships we aim to direct resources and materials to identified individuals who show a marked interest in —and could benefit from— a supportive network of artists and arts education.
We believe in the power of art both as a means to uplift members of the community, and as a therapeutic benefit of exploration. By supporting members in their education, life, and careers in the arts we aim to foster a diverse network throughout the greater Kansas City region.
